How to melt aluminum wire?

First of all, the raw material of aluminum wire is aluminum ingot, and electrolytic aluminum ingot is generally used in industrial production. Electrolytic aluminum ingot is a metal raw material for reducing aluminum by alumina. During smelting, the aluminum ingot will be heated above its melting point to melt it into liquid aluminum metal.
Secondly, pour the melted aluminum metal into the electrolytic cell. The electrolytic cell is a device for electrolysis. It consists of two electrodes, an anode and a cathode, and there will be an electrolyte between the two. In the smelting process of aluminum wire, fluoride aluminate electrolytes are usually used.
Thirdly, during the electrolysis in the smelting process, the anode in the electrolytic cell is made of conductive iron, while the cathode is made of carbon. These two materials are connected to the positive and negative poles of the external power supply respectively. In the electrolytic cell, the aluminum ingot will be oxidized by the anode into aluminum ions and precipitated from the cathode to form aluminum metal.
Finally, the aluminum metal obtained after smelting will be stretched through a wire drawing machine to form a slender aluminum wire. Wire drawing is to gradually draw the aluminum metal billet through a small hole plate to reduce its cross-sectional area and increase its length, so that aluminum wires of different specifications and sizes can be obtained.
