Silicon Metal 2202 1101 for Chemical Industry Feedstock and Silicone Material Production

When silicon enters a chemical reactor rather than a furnace, the specification tightens. Silicon metal 2202 (Si 99.58%, Fe/Al ≤0.2%, Ca ≤0.02%) and 1101 (Si 99.79%, Fe/Al ≤0.1%, Ca ≤0.01%) form the feedstock pair that chemical industry buyers and silicone material producers order when the process, not the price sheet, sets the grade. ZhenAn produces both in Anyang, Henan, and certifies every lot before it leaves the works.

Delivery discipline matters as much as smelting discipline. The two grades move as sized lump in 1 MT big bags — chemistry is locked in the casting, and lump form protects it through handling. Lots are sampled at release; the COA states Si, Fe, Al and Ca against the ordered grade. For plants that mill on site, lump arrives ready for the mill; for those charging directly, sizing follows the agreed screen. ISO 9001 covers the whole route.

The pattern is uniform: 1101 halves every impurity ceiling relative to 2202. Processes that notice iron at two-tenths of a percent belong on 1101; the rest run 2202 and bank the difference.
