Smelting and remelt operations buy silicon by the ton and count pfennigs by the kilogram, so the workhorse grade wins the volume. Si metal 3303 — Si 99.37% with Fe, Al and Ca capped at 0.3%, 0.3% and 0.03% — dissolves readily into aluminum melts and carries a price tag that survives alloy-program budgeting. ZhenAn casts this grade continuously at its Henan works, so volume calls can be met lot after lot from the same chemistry.
Consistency is a production property, not a promise. The smelter taps silicon from a stable charge recipe, casts and sizes it on the same line, and releases lots only after the lab confirms the numbers. Buyers receive lump in 1 MT big bags, loaded at roughly 20–25 MT per 20' container, with the COA and packing list following the shipment. ISO 9001 governs the route from furnace to vessel.
The grade speaks in five numbers: silicon at 99.37% minimum, iron at 0.3% maximum, aluminium at 0.3% maximum and calcium at 0.03% maximum, delivered as lump sized 10–50 mm with 90% minimum in range (10–100 mm fractions quotable against agreed screens). Those ceilings are tight enough for commercial aluminum alloys and generous enough to keep the grade affordable at smelter volumes.
| Silicon (Si) | 99.37% min |
|---|---|
| Iron (Fe) | 0.3% max |
| Aluminium (Al) | 0.3% max |
| Calcium (Ca) | 0.03% max |
| Lump Size | 10–50 mm, 90% min in range (10–100 mm fractions quotable against agreed screens) |
| Packing | 1 MT big bags; approx. 20–25 MT per 20' container |
Alloy specs tolerate 3303's impurity window; paying for 2202 purity usually buys nothing the melt needs.
At 10–50 mm it dissolves steadily in a stirred aluminum melt; finer fractions are available if the furnace wants them.
Volume agreements with rolling dispatch are quotable.
Retained samples support referee analysis and settlement per contract.
SGS or BV at the buyer's account, or the works COA as standard.
5–10 working days after funds land.
Three moves speed a smelter order. First, send the monthly tonnage and the charging system description so sizing lands right the first time. Second, name the port and preferred incoterm for a comparable landed figure. Third, state whether the works COA suffices or third-party inspection is required — the desk builds that into the offer.
