Grade 553 powder carries Si 98.7% with Fe, Al and Ca ceilings of 0.5%, 0.5% and 0.3% — the economical additive choice. Grade 441 raises silicon to 99.1% and pulls the ceilings to 0.4%, 0.4% and 0.1% for tighter melt chemistry.

Sizing is expressed two ways: as a nominal 325 mesh screen with an agreed residue, or as laser D-values when the additive blend is engineered to a distribution. Both are available on the certificate.
