What are the categories of nickel mesh?
Nickel mesh is a mesh material made of nickel as the main raw material. It has excellent corrosion resistance and conductivity and is widely used in chemical, electronic, aerospace and other fields. According to different manufacturing processes and uses, nickel mesh can be divided into many different categories.
1. Classification by manufacturing process:
(1) Welded nickel mesh: nickel wire or strip nickel material is welded into a mesh structure by electric welding process, which has high strength and stability and is suitable for applications with high requirements such as filtration and steam oxidation.
(2) Braided nickel mesh: nickel wire is woven into a mesh structure by a braiding machine according to certain weaving rules. It has good softness and flexibility and is suitable for electromagnetic shielding, battery plates and other fields.
(3) Rolled nickel mesh: nickel material is processed into a mesh structure by high temperature and high pressure rolling process. It has high uniformity and surface finish and is suitable for electrolytic nickel, chip capacitors and other fields.
2. Classification by application field:
(1) Filter nickel mesh: It has high filtration accuracy and corrosion resistance. It is suitable for catalyst carriers, oil-water separation and other filtration equipment in the fields of petrochemicals and water treatment.
(2) Battery plate nickel mesh: It has excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. It is suitable for the manufacture of battery plates such as solar cells and lithium batteries.
(3) Electronic shielding nickel mesh: It has excellent electromagnetic shielding performance and is suitable for electromagnetic shielding materials in the fields of electronic products and communication equipment.
(4) Aerospace nickel mesh: It has the characteristics of light weight and high strength, and is suitable for filter elements, partitions and other parts in the aerospace field.
3. Classification by surface treatment method:
(1) Nickel-plated mesh: Electroplating treatment is performed on the surface of the nickel mesh to improve corrosion resistance and surface finish, and is suitable for fields with high corrosion requirements.
(2) Sprayed nickel mesh: Spraying treatment is performed on the surface of the nickel mesh to improve wear resistance and high temperature resistance, and is suitable for high temperature filtration, petrochemical equipment and other fields.
(3) Coated nickel mesh: Coating treatment is performed on the surface of the nickel mesh to improve surface adhesion and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for composite material reinforcement, anti-corrosion coatings and other fields.
In general, the classification of nickel mesh can be classified according to manufacturing process, application field and surface treatment method. Choosing different types of nickel mesh according to specific needs can better meet the needs of various industrial applications.
