The silicon aluminum master alloy is mainly aluminum silicon 20. Aluminum silicon 50 is mainly exported. Deformed aluminum alloys indirectly make metal silicon. The silicon content is low, usually below 0.5%. In deformed aluminum alloys, the addition of silicon to aluminum alone is limited to welding materials. The addition of silicon to aluminum also has a certain strengthening effect.
The fluidity of silicon in cast aluminum alloys increases with increasing silicon content. Thermal cracking hardly occurs when Si reaches 6%.
