Silica-aluminum-barium calcium is a good deoxidizing agent and desulfurizing agent in barium alloy, which reduces the oxygen in steel to a low level. Meanwhile, the complex oxides containing calcium, barium, silicon and aluminum formed are easy to float from the liquid steel, purify the liquid steel, and improve the impact toughness and machining performance of steel.
Advantages:
(1) Enhance the action capacity of deoxy elements. The presence of two or more deoxidizing elements increases their deoxidizing ability when they are alone. The use of ternary deoxidizer (such as silicon manganese calcium, silicon aluminum barium, etc.) than the use of binary deoxidizer (such as silicon calcium, silicon aluminum, silicon manganese, etc.) has a stronger deoxidizer ability.
(2) The melting point of the composite deoxidizer is reduced, and it is easier to disperse evenly and participate in the reaction at the same time, shortening the selective diffusion process, so as to absorb elements and improve the yield of alloying elements.
(3) deoxidation product particle radius is large, easy to absorb the surrounding small particle inclusion, conducive to rapid upward discharge, make the liquid steel more pure.
(4) The deoxidation effect is more stable, which is conducive to the stability and improvement of casting quality.
