Melting and casting process of vanadium pentoxide
Powdered vanadium pentoxide is delivered to the discharge port of the melting furnace by a screw conveyor. The vanadium powder is heated and melted in the melting furnace during the process of falling and accumulating. The molten vanadium pentoxide liquid enters the water-cooled disc casting machine through the liquid outlet chute to obtain flake vanadium pentoxide. Energy-saving principle: ① The high-temperature flue gas of the melting furnace is passed through the sedimentation, heat exchange, and blending to provide a drying heat source for the flash dryer to dry the wet-based ammonium vanadate, thereby realizing the secondary utilization of energy. ② The temperature of the modified melting furnace is lower than that of the traditional one-step method, which avoids the high-temperature vaporization of vanadium, reduces the heat loss of the furnace body, and saves the amount of fuel in the melting furnace.
