China’s price of 75% grade FeSi assessed by Mysteel reached a 3.5-year high of Yuan 9,677/tonne ($1,498/t) including the 13% VAT as of August 27, jumping Yuan 842/t on week. The crimped supply of FeSi in Northwest China’s Ningxia, one of the country’s five production bases for the ferroalloy, lent support to prices, market sources said.
